Belfair!

We went to Belfair for the day on August 1st to visit my Mom and Dad since they were camping there. We had a great time! Lucy wouldn't let go of the stick she was holding in her mouth. Gavin loved pretending to play cards with the grown ups.

Also we added to our family.....we got 2 Russian Dwarf Hamsters. They don't stand still long enough for me to get a really good picture of them. Gavin named them...Peanut Butter and Ginger. I think the one in the picture is Peanut Butter.

Adoption news: We got the rough draft of our homestudy report! Now it will go to 2 other people before it is approved and goes to the USCIS. Then we'll get our fingerprint appointment!!

Play Dough Fun!

Gavin and I had fun the other day playing with play dough in the back yard. He had never seen the stuff before. He had fun making "pasta". He wanted me to make cookies! It was such a great day!

I also had to post the funniest picture ever of my dog Lucy. She is crazy in love with her ball. As you can see she even sleeps with it in her mouth!! And as you can see for some reason she loves to lay in my flower garden!

Here is our attempt at growing green peppers and tomatoes. Hopefully more will grow soon!

Still nothing new on the adoption front.
